Yuriorkis Gamboa is scheduled to fight in a 12-round WBA World featherweight title fight on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada. No opponent has been named yet. Gamboa was to face Elios Rojas but he was injuried in training camp. This is the second set back for Gamboa who was originally scheduled to fight Orlando Salido who suffered a cut in his last fight that had not healed yet. Also appearing on the card promoted by Bob Arum of Top Rank will be Anthony Peterson vs Brandon Rios in a WBA lightweight title eliminator fight.
